Japanese helmet

I have a Japanese helmet and I need help to identify it.

Appears to be a Japanese civilian model, police or civil defence. Can't tell you the model number,I don't know it.
We're worn in combat late in the war as supplies and situation made it necessary.

It does indeed appear to be a Japanese Civil Defense helmet, these were made cheaply by a wide number of manufactures from the mid-1930's to the end of the war. Because of these variations, they don't have a particular model designation as such, they all more or less follow a similar shape and webbing style.

Had a similar helmet a few years ago, they come up for sale frequently from dealers in Japan.
