SS Handschar combat fez: real or fake?

this fez up for grabs, I think it looks good, but I'd rather have some expert opinion on it.







and if real, what's it worth?

Looks good based on these pictures.... However, fakes abound. Value is very subjective..... $1500./2500.00 US... IMO!

Would say Paki fake in my opinion....ribbed material was first red flag for me.Granted Italian made can have ribbed silk/material but this looks totally different to me.

I think it's real, but quite worn, and the insignia look to have been reattached.
