Vereidigung (oath).
Hello to all ; something about.........................
Vereidigung in Bad Kreuznach 1937.
New recruits are sworn in at the Bad Kreuznach barracks; in the photograph an officer in his best clothes. Despite the quality of the photo (below), it's possible to identify what medals he is wearing on his uniform? ..................

Hi tigre,
maybe interesting in this context: Vereidigung und Gelöbnis von Soldaten der Bundeswehr.
Link: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vereidigu ... Bundeswehr
Link: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feierliches_Gelöbnis
It was a special day for many, but not for all of us recruits back then.
Many relatives and parents were present, the typical music was played, a very solemn moment, long ago, I will never forget.
Took place on a Friday morning, rest of the following weekend was off duty.
