here's a nice shot of a TeNo fur cap in use. It's from a 2-page photo story of a Carinthian blacksmith serving in the TeNo that appeared in
Wiener Illustrierte of April 7, 1943: 62. Jahrgang, No. 14, pp.6

Hello All. Great thread of information. Don't usually join forums or post items from my collection but I thought I would share. I have been collecting for about 40 years and picked up this grouping about 25 years back. The grouping belongs to Dr. Friedrich Witte. John

Thanks for sharing ! I remember when the Dr. Witte grouping was up for sale.

Great historical items & also indexed to a prominent TeNo Officer.

Seems that Dr. Witte was a high leader in the Hamburg area, I believe?
The Katastrophe as referenced was the 1943 allied bombing of Hamburg, resulting in the firestorm.
