No, and they are not:

The Gendarmerie was the rural police (as opposed to the Gemeindepolizei in smaller towns and the Schutzpolizei des Reiches in larger cities). All of these were branches of the order police and (of course) wore police uniforms, with the various branches distinguished by branch colors (and a few other differences, like the color of their uniform facings and leather equipment, although that was later standardized).

These men are wearing army uniforms.

A visit of military attaches at Vienna to Theresianische Militärakademie, before Anschluss. Does anyone knows what country they're came from, based on their uniforms (apart from German and Austria)?

Some questions of an old thread, that was left unanswered ;

Is it a SA or NSKK man ? I can't make out the badge on the cap..but I think it's NSKK ( Kraftfahrraute on the left forearm )
Did NSKK officers graduate in the SA-Reichsführerschule (Tyr Rune ) ?
As an Oberführer rank (?), he doesn't have 'Tresse' around top of its kepi...Why ?

Speaking of NSKK... Is this an NSKK man? I haven't found anything that confirms that. Note the light and dark piping on the collar and shoulder tab.

A former Waffenrock dress tunic with wartime modifications for use as a field uniform.

(The Waffenrock was discontinued at the outbreak of war. Issued ones and unit stocks were collected and converted for field use by removing the pipings and cuff cuff turn-ups, adding pockets etc.)

It's a model 1940/1941 field blouse. The collar is already made of field grey basecloth, but the breast pockets still have pleats and scalloped pocket flaps.

(The dark green collar was abolished in May 1940, the pleats in late 1941 and the scallops in 1943.)

Don't know about the helmet.
