SS Shoulder boards

Surprisingly I haven't been able to find clear instructions about how the shoulderboards are supposed to be attached. I need some detailed help to clear the ambiguity.
This is for Allgemeine style shoulder board(with two small golden rings at the one end on both straps), mine being the enlist black/silver one(Using m32 tunic).
The bottom strap I heard is supposed to be tucked into an open seam found on the corner of the shoulder. Then the seam is stitched shut with the strap tucked into its place.
This is pretty simple to understand, though from this point on I can't really find more info. How do I get the shoulder board in place with the pre-installed button on the shoulder? Is there any more sewing to be done?
How do screw on boards attach differently?
Help is appreciated, as I've already found out a previous uniform had the shoulder board attached incorrectly, and would like my new ones to be done as they should be.
