sOMEONE SENT ME THIS PIC FOR MY INFO. I said I think it's European 20th century, ANY exact information?

This bayonet is a U.S. M1895 Lee Navy bayonet, can't tell if it's a Remington (usually marked in the reverse fuller) or a Winchester (marked under the guard)..... Jenzen's "Bayonets" Reference,Pg. 219 #2/#3. Harding 131/144, Kiesling Vol. I #48/Vol. III #524. Too bad it's missing it's locking button, would be a pretty scarce bayonet.

has a mark ..a triangle with a letter in the triangle, but cannot make out

Hello

Sorry in advance for piggy backing on this post but I'm new to the forum and haven't figured out how to post yet.

I've just inherited this bayonet from my uncle and was wondering if someone could give me more information about it. I'm assuming it's WW2?

Forgot about this thread, the lady was happy to get the true description from AHF, was not happy as to the condition and worth.I posted links of the bayo on other sites that are for sale, so she could see for herself
