I've read that German officers had a specific jacket for summer, a white feldbluse, but did soldier wear it too (privately packaged?)

Enlisted Army personnel did not wear the white uniform, only officers. The closest might be the cream colored Drill tunic, but that's a different type uniform. There might be unique, special duty exceptions (like white "Mess Jackets" , but they too fall outside the normal.
Officers had to private-purchase their white tunics so many never owned one... plus they were seldom worn once the war started.
