N.M. Field Ambulance badge

Post by brindle » 06 Jan 2019 16:16

I would welcome any information about this Field Ambulance badge. In particular is it from WW1 or WW2 and what the initials N.M. might stand for? Also why the badge has 3 studs on the back?

Many thanks
Phil

"North Midland Field Ambulance", British Army shoulder patch from WW I.
Studs help remove and change the patches, without having to sew them
