So his collar looks weird and Iv never seen other panzer officers dress like that. Anyone know why?

He's wearing a kreigsmarine leather jacket with short stand-up collar, common for tank crew at this stage of the war.... His normal SS collar tabs are on his uniform undernearth.....

He liked his fancy jackets did Wittmann.

I wonder what happened to these jackets when he was forced to flee his knocked-out Tiger at Villers Bocage?

Here is a pic of Bill Cotton (bottom left) just after Villers Bocage. Bill is the man who set the Tigers alight in Villers Bocage. I wonder where he got that fancy jacket he is wearing?
