Axis Uniform Identification and Information

Last December my grandmother who immigrated to Canada in the 1950's from Germany, passed away. After her death, our family found a photo album with pictures of a few men in German uniform that I personally had no idea were in the German military. From my understanding, one is of my great uncle (Seen in SS uniform)

and another unknown family member in what looks to be a Wehrmacht uniform.

If someone could help me identify these uniforms and the ranks, it would be much appreciated. I've been trying to find records on these men, but have had no luck.

Not much too tell.... First photo is a Waffen SS "Mann" or "Schutz" (blank rank collar tab), nothing else unfortunately. The second photo shows an Army enlisted man, but again, nothing more.
