M42 Luft Helmet Liner

Does this leather liner look OK to you? It is inside an M42 Luftwaffe helmet. Any idea what the Ba stands for? Thank you.

It's an original leather liner from period ( Maybe made of pigskin )

Number stamped on the tongue is the size for the wearer’s head, and Ba 59 indicates the size in cm of the inner metal band
