Snaps on M40/M43 SS Cap?

Post by OctoSturm » 29 Aug 2019 21:58

I recently picked a SS cap. Tough to find Indexes on them. Mine has the upside down triangle Nazi Eagle with Death's Head insignias on front. Has metal snaps on the side flaps. The few caps I find online or YouTube don't seem to have them, like mine. The snaps are very clean/ shiny. A few letters on the including I believe is EDC or EMC. Any help here?

You have to be a member.... You can use a photo link like photo shop. Read the FAQs on the mechanics involved.

The only field caps that truly are M40s are tropical or mountain versions, and not Waffen SS. I would prepare myself for bad news.... The snaps are bad news almost certainly.
