Hitler Youth shirt
Re: Hitler Youth shirt
Not a Hitler Youth shirt, more an SA, NSDAP, NSKK Brown shirt. I'm not familiar with the shoulder board, not your typical anything, but with so many splinter organizations and short lived variation, I could have missed this pattern, assuming it is original to the shirt. Notice it did have collar tabs previously sewn on, which HJ didn't wear. Better phoyos, tags, marking, belt ramp marking might help identify it properly.

Looking at the shoulder board again, does Not look properly seen on, so probably added.

Re: Hitler Youth shirt
Interesting, the belt ramps are SS versions, so very possibly the shirt may have been SS. The shoulder board is S.A. Wehrmannschaft (Home Defense units) but the way it's applied is not correct. It would have had black cord piping around the collar at one time, but since the SS stopped wearing Brown shirts most would have been reissued to other groups, possibly Volksstrum and Home Defense units late in the war. The SS belt ramps make this a good restoration project.
