Defense Logistics Agency (Uniforms)

Hi, folks.
I'll be as brief as possible. The Defense Logistics Agency is responsible for supplying uniforms in the US. Would anyone know who which department was responsible for supplying Prussian uniforms post-1900 and pre-1918?
Presumably, that department would have kept records of all uniforms, colour, style, corps, division, regiment et al.

Let's say someone in 1930 had a photograph of a particular pre-1918 uniform, this would be the place they would go to narrow down a search for the person wearing it.

Any help would be appreciated.
