This label is on a tunic currently offered for sale. The boards indicate a German major general. The writing is very hard to make out. Can anyone help?

The word in the middle seems to say “Baurat” which would be a term on the uniform of an administrative official, not a major general.

Baurat means architect or inspector of urban planning, but the person could have the rank of General Major (Major General), but without his name.................
Thus like: Herr General Major baurat Prof Dr. ?????????????
Apoliges for my poor english.
Kindly regards from Belgium

What are the words before and after Baurat? There is a hyphen before Baurat, an abbreviation. Could it be Eng?

Hi Gerst,

It is "Reg-Baurat" (Regierungs-Baurat), but for the name a better close up would help.

My guess is: Reg-Baurat Rogge.

Best regards
