I think this is a WW2 German shoulder board. If so, can anyone tell me the rank and unit? Thank you

Shoulder boards for a hauptmann (captain = two pips/stars) of the 6 or 9th..? Underlaying colour (Waffenfarbe) red (If bright red) could be artillery/anti aircraft artillery but not sure because of the interwoven gold thread.

Not WWII period, but Imperial style officer shoulder board.

Hello. Then would you say this is likely an Imperial german 9th Field Artillery Captain's shoulder board? Thanks very much for lending your expertise.
