Hello everyone,
I was wondering if the Reichswehr had any specific trousers or greatcoats made for them during the inter-war period?
Or did they use the 1914 pattern Hosen and the 1915 Einheitsmantel?
Cheers,
Brandon.

Re: Reichswehr Uniforms
As soon as the German economy stabilized the Reichswehr received more resources and started a modernization process that involved development of new weapons and new uniforms. While retaining the traditional German gray-green colour (Feldgrau), the cut of the new uniforms was made closer to the British style of WW1, universally considered very modern and practical, the tunic getting two pleated pockets on the chest and two internal pockets at the hip. The hat was changed to a visored cap very similar to the British one, the traditional Prussian barrack hat without visor being phased out.
