WW2 Italian Insignia

is this a WW2 Italian unit patch? If so, where were they deployed in WW2? Thanks

Yes, Italian 46th Artilley Regiment cap badge.

Was a part of 102nd Motorised Division ' Trento', moved to North Africa in February 1941.
