Reich polizei
Reich polizei
Hello,
I have this reich polizei pin/badge.. looks like bronze
And it has a screw on the back..
Does anyone know where it was attached too?
On the back of the eagle there is a stamp what looks like Wz5 and on the little nut/ring is a stamp with an eagle( a bit like the waffen stamp and a number and a year with a little ss logo on the right and something of a logo on the left..?

Re: Reich polizei
My reply was a little harsh, was in a overall pissy mood,so my apology. But the Adler is a very bad cast lead nonsense made to fool and cheat-scam others.

Re: Reich polizei
The attachment washer is like this armband being offered as real Thris Reich used, these assholes add all knids of SS runes, the RZM wackiness where it never was, phony stampingds to pimp the item up, the armband isd total fantasy fake, but fools people because they see the SS, the Auctchwitz, and they forget about common logic
Re: Reich polizei
Don’t worry, i can imagen if you host a page like this you get sick and tired of the phonies..
This was a present from my girlfriend so it was a bit anoying to inform her it is fake( after i did research)
The disgusting thing about it is that she bought it from an antique shop. And i don’t believe in antique dealers who don’t have a clue.if i can find out he can and did for sure.

Good morning Badtaste,
our collector friends von thoma and Mark are right, a fake "German WWII Police Cartouche Box Eagle", typical flea market stuff in
eastern countries, material for tourists with no idea about german militaria.
Link: https://www.google.com/search?client=op ... 8&oe=UTF-8
Because of the "seal" made from pewter probably a sandcasted fake produced in Poland.
Terrible quality, just look at some originals under the above link, the photos of several originals tells the whole story...
* A polish silversmith with a similar "seal" produced Harley & Indian Pins in the 1980s and the 1990s for my motorcycle business
made from 925 Sterling Silver in very high quality, excellent hand-made stuff.
Welcome to the AHF.

Thanks Mark,
the white "SS Arbeitsamt" armband just made my day, there is a lot of weird stuff on the worldwide market,
thanks again for sharing.
Hans
Mark, it makes me wonder, was the armband sold, and if yes, for how much..?
Btw, the "preshaped" (G: "vorgeformt") "police shako eagle" was similar, but varied in size and the mounting points, very easy to confuse...
