Dear Friends,
I have in my collection some items to an SS-Oberscharfuhrer which I have been attempting to identify and research. I believe this buckle is an original one made by Overhoff & Cie, but it is unmarked. I would appreciate opinions on originality and to confirm from which period it comes, such as pre, early, mid or late war. It does have the rope between the wing and eagle's head and also the chest diamonds look right to me. I would be interested in your thoughts.
Best regards as ever
Tony

Re: Waffen SS Belt Buckle
It's an original steel buckle from late war. An unmarked buckle is not uncommon.
Re: Waffen SS Belt Buckle
An expensive and valued buckle.
Overhoff was the most common manufacturer of these EM/NCO belt buckles.
