Armband of the NSDAP end of the war period
Good night,
Could you friends who are specialists in uniforms please give me your opinion on this NSDAP armband, possibly from the late war period (1944/45)?
Very thankful,

Re: Armband of the NSDAP end of the war period
hmm, well, an armband with the sewn ribbon swaz would be pre war as by the 1944 era they would not waste time effort and RM doing these, BUT, IMO the armband in question is artifically aged, antiqued, In other owrds a fake repo.Of cours etha topinio is based on pics and a in hand inspection would say if genuine

nOW REMEMBER THAT IS MY OPINION,AND EVERYONE WILL SAY AGAIN, CANNT OFFER OPINIONS ON PICS, AS HAVING A RELIC IN HAND WILL SAY ALL ANYONE NEEDS TO KNOW WITHIN SECONDS.i myself have taken fake armbands ad *ANTIQUES D tHEWM * TIO SEE HOW EASY IT IS AND HOW EASY TO FOOL OTHERS. tHE BIGGEST GIVEAWAY TO ANY OF THESE SEWN MUL;TIPIECE ARMBANDS IS THE WHITE RONDEL all fakes I see use the wrong materila, as the eal ones during the TR era used a very fine, thin silk like material for the rondels to me the material feels like silk of course it is not, but it is a very fine, smooth feel and an unseamed one is hard to find, very few had unsewn unfinished eds such as this one, if you look ,there is NO wear and tear on the cut eds, that is a bad red flag, but I see on yours a black hole where they would sew it to uniform with black thread to hold it in place on the sleeve, so hell, I have o clue if it is genuine without personal look see

Re: Armband of the NSDAP end of the war period
These armbands cannot be identified from a photo, and certainly not because of "ageing".
There were hundreds of variants, but often a NSDAP stamp is decisive for an original.
Without a personal origin / provenance worthless, for decorative purposes only.
The verifiable provenance of these artifacts is ultimately crucial, but who am I telling...
