ID an timestamp on alpine troop uniform

Hello!
I am looking for confirmation on an ID on these uniforms. I am assuming, that those are alpine troops, but is there a way to tell, when these pictures could have been taken, just by looking at the equipment? Also, I´m not seeing any Edelweiss patches, so maybe this is just a regular infantry unit after the issue of the field cap 43?
