Late war uniform questions: this has been bugging me a lot

If there is anyone knowledgeable enough on this, please don’t hesitate to throw me a bone , as I’m working on an important documentary and want to get it *perfect*, and I don’t want to make the mistakes Hollywood makes in films.

I’m curious what late war KZ guard uniforms would have looked like, like actual guards ( schutz, sturmann etc), not NCOs , but basic rifle men at the gates and outposts and checkpoints etc.

Would they have worn horizontal skull tabs? Ss runes? Would white waffenfarbe be used on someone with runes , OR brown for KZ even though they’d have runes??

were gaiters and low boots only used by Soliders on the front or also by KZ guys? Would they have been in marching boots for low ranks in that late war period or in low boots?
