Hi,

Can you please help me identify this belt buckle and
information about it. Also what is the fair market value?
Thanks for your help!

Here are some pictures:

But is it real? In the pictures, the Z in RZM doesn't look like it has a - through it.

Having or not having a cross bar in the Z to say it is a fake or was an old and wrong bull***t !! Please do not rely on this feature !! You will just end up passing on 100% original buckles and buying a bunch of current fakes from CZ Republic !
It just depends of the maker and/or the die maker to have or not this bar.
I will refer anyone to genuine Assmann SS Buckles. None of those have (at least for original) this bar on the Z (steel version, marked RZM 155/40 SS or/and RZM 155/43 SS).
I can not comment this Political Leader buckle because my expertise goes to SS Buckles only, and I never took care to track original or fakes in other branches of WWII Germany.
Since this issue on the Z is on SS Buckles, I can post such affirmative reply. But I do not comment the buckle itself.
