Wearing multiple cuff titles....
Heer Panzer Collar Tabs
Those are Heer panzer collar tabs they also had the Totenkopf on them, but the totenkopf on the Heer tabs was a bit different than the ones used by the SS.

Campaign/Honour Cuff Titles and Regimental Cuff Titles
There is a difference between campaign cufftitles and unit cufftitles. Maybe I`m speaking of a different case here.......????????

Yes, there is a difference. There were a number of cuff titles awarded for particular campaigns such as "Spanien 1936", "Kreta", " Gibraltar",
"Afrika" to the participants be it Heer, Luftwaffe or Kriegsmarine.
Then there were regimental or divisional cuff titles that were part of the regimental/divisional uniform. eg: "Viking", "Hitelr Jugend" "Adolf Hitler" and represented no particular award or campaign.

Michel

The picture is not too clear, but I am almost 100 % certain that what we see here are not cufftitles, but rather the two rings of NCO Tresse worn on both lower sleeves by NCOs holding the duty position of Spieß.sylvieK4 wrote:I found this photo of a Heer NCO at an online auction. Is the wearing of cufftitles on both right and left sleeves unusual?
(See here for a few examples: http://www.wehrmacht-awards.net/forums/ ... p?t=112417 )
Otherwise, cuff titles/sleevebands on both sleeves were not too common, but it did happen.
For example, if somebody was awarded one of the campaign cuffbands ("Afrika", "Kreta", "Kurland" or "Metz 1944"), which were to be worn on the left sleeve and was, at the same time, entitled to wear a unit cuff title like "Großdeutschland", "Brandenburg" etc.) on the right sleeve.
Another example is a young enlisted man appearing in a photograph in Gordon Williamson & Thomas McGuirl's "German Military Cuffbands 1784 - Present": He can be seen wearing his original unit's "Großdeutschland" cuffband on the right sleeve and his current assignment's "Führerbegleitbataillon" cuffband on the left one, which was perfectly in line with regulations.
One thing that did not happen, though - or at least it would have been totally against regulations - was the wearing of identical cuff titles/sleevebands on both sleeves.
(During the Third Reich period, that is. Identical cuffbands on both sleeves were - and are - worn by certain Bundeswehr formations.)
Oh, and by the way: The SA officer next to Goering in the picture above isn't actually wearing multiple cuff titles, either: He is wearing a "Feldherrnhalle" cuff title above SA long service sleeve stripes.
