Here comes a link (http://www.unizh.ch/~albbla/related_person.jpg) for a picture of somebody who is related to me (I took away
his head for privacy reasons). I wonder what all his stuff on his uniform means and if it is in concordance with his death certificate that says he was a NSKK-Truppführer.

Is it possible that he was in Todt?

Does he has maybe glasses in his right breast pocket?

Tried to open the photo, but its so large, and out of focus, try making it smaller so I can see it.

The tunics NSKK, NCO rank, standard NSKK style, its impossible to see the color on the board, which would indicate which gruppe he is from, but its NSKK for sure, hope that helps. Its usually a brownish green wool, with darkbrown collar,, open lapel style. :D

He died August 15, 1942 in Kauen (Kowna). Does this maybe help so say in which truppe he was?

What does NCO mean?

What had a NCO Obertruppfahrer to do?

Obertruppführer is just a rank. His functions could be different. I recommend you to visit the NSKK section of this site and to read some literature about NSKK.
