HJ objekt

Hi,
I'm trying to identify this object. It's a strap (looks almost like a sholderboard) with a button hole and button. The button is marked HJ-DJ, I guess that denotes Hitler Jugend and Deutsche Jungvolk use. It's made of a velvet-like material. Any more info on this object will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

I think you are correct , it's most probably a shoulder strap for a DJ member of DJ unit 119.
These straps were all black with black piping. The DJ members only wore a single strap on the right shoulder.

I have a shirt with single shoulder strap numeral 183. The arm triangle is for Ost Sudenenland and below it is a red circle with the white S rune. Any ideas of the location of 183..?

Matt,

Many years ago, I obtained a list of most if not all the locations of the various Banns. It was compiled from official records at the end of the war. The list has never been published and in order to get it, I had to promise never to distribuite it..
