Greetings all,

I just recently acquired this Wolfstein 1 patch at an auction. I don't normally purchase patches, but I do acquire things that strike me. This patch definitely struck me as something to bid on...

Does anyone have any info on this history? The only research I could find on Wolfstein and SS units is here: http://www.forces70.freeserve.co.uk/Waf ... d%20SS.htm
It doesn't say too much, except mentioning the city Wolfstein.

Any info will help me out immensely...

Well, your patch is a German Red Cross armpatch, "Wolfstein 1" being the unit's location and number.
