Post by Tosun Saral » 05 May 2006 15:34

Infantry Captain Selahattin, the commander of the 6th Company of the 2nd battalion of the 17th Infantry Regiment with his officers, NCO's and pet dog in 1914 just before the WW1 in Kirkkilise(today Kirklareli). One of the officers sitting was killed in Sedulbahir/Gallipoli. 4 of them was wounded by mortar fire in Gallipoli. The photo is dedicated by Lt. Cafer to a certain Lt. Hasan Riza. Dedication " May be the fate kills my moral body, Hasan Riza this is a present to you save it for me"
from my collection.
