Ahmet Cemal Pasha
Ahmet Cemal Pasha (Midilli Island May 6th 1872- Tiflis/Georgia July 21st 1922)
Commander of 4th Army and Naval Minister.
Graduated from War Academy as Staff Captain in 1895.
Although he was a protector of Armenians in Syria and Palastine he was assassinated by Armenians in Tiftis while wolkin with his 2 aid officers Sureyya Bey and Nusret Bey. The officers were also killed. Their bodies were taken by 15th Army Corps Commander Kazim Karabekir Pasha to Erzurum and buried besides the grave of Hafiz Ismail Hakki Pasha who died of epidemy during WW1.

Resat (Col.Cigiltepe)
On the first day of Great attack againts Greeks in August 26yh 1922 all the Turkish divisions the 14th, 15th and 23rd reached their goals accept the 57th division commanded by Col. Resat. Greeks were defending a very high hill called "Cigiltepe" 57th tryied on August 27th all day long its advance. They were still unsuccesfull. Col. Resat wanted extra half an hour to conquer the hill. At the end of the half hour he committed suicide. After his death his 57th took the hill. His family got the family name "Cigiltepe"

Kemalettin Sami (Lt.Gen. Gökçen) Sinop 1884- Berlin 1934 He married to doughter of famous Egyptian Pribce Abbas Hilmi Pasha. He died in Berlin while he was ambassador of Turkish Republic.

Muzaffer Adil Bey captain of the battleship Barboros Hayrettin. ( No relationsship with Gen. Selahattin Adil Pasha) Battleship was build in Germany in 1890. Ottoman Navy buyed the ship om 1910. She was sank by British submarine E11 on August 12 1915 during Gallipoli War. 5 officers and 300 men drowned.
