Officers of 30th Infantry Regiment

Reserve Lt. Munim Mustafa and other Officers of the 30th Infantry Regiment of the 10th Division just before the Canal Expedition. Commander of the Regiment was Lt. Col. Riza Bey.

Reserve Officer Suphi Nuri (Prof. Dr.Ileri) (Canakkale 1887- Istanbul 1945) was one of the company commanders of Hecinsuvar Regiment. He was from a very well known family. His Grandfather was Abidin Pasha who was nade Grand Vezier in 1906. he had very good relations with Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. After Graduating from Faculty of Law in Istanbul he made his doctorate on Law in Sorbon University, Paris. He enlisted the army and served at the order of 4th Army. After Canal Expetition he was one of the information officers of 4th Army HQs. After the war he was elected Secratary General of the Turkish Reserve Officers Union. He grunded Turkish Socialist Party. In 1931 he became Proffessor of Law at Istanbul University.
