I bought some volumes on Ebay or from various out-of-print bookstores.

However the best source is Nadir Kitap. I have done business with them for years. Very reliable and fast. They are a central web store like ABE, selling books from many different stores. They usually have some of the officials for sale.

Using dünya harbi or birinci dünya will find quite a few of the volumes.

The series was originally printed as softbound books. Some were rebound as hard backs. There is always a mix available. A set of Robin Higham's Official Histories and Official Military Historical Offices and Sources helps in knowing what was published. The Turkish works are mainly in volume 1 of Official Military Historical Offices and Sources.

Thanks for the catalog. That is something I hadn't seen before. It is a complete list of all publications. Note that many are out of print.

Note that the terms series (serisi) implies more 'period' than volumes written together to create an historical whole. Mulitple editions are also listed. Some are label as later editions (baski), but others aren't very clear in that regard. Looking at the title dates and volume numbering, I assume the three Çanakkale volumes published in 2012 are reprints of the earlier three volumes even though they aren't labeled as such.

Turkish Army bought 44 howitzers and 16 guns from Soviet Russia in 1926 and aditional 27 howitzers in 1927. I hope dear Turkish friends could say more about these artillery guns
