Welcome to the forums latest addition: The End of the Ottoman Empire 1908-1923.
.
This section is for discussions on the Ottoman Empire, starting from the 1908 Young Turks Revolution, onwards through the era of the Italo-Ottoman War,the Balkan Wars, the First World War,and the Graeco-Turkish War (the War of Liberation).

The large number of recent posts on the Ottoman Turks in our First World War section has contributed to the decision in setting up this new section as well. A lot of the unique information that has been gathered to date there remains unknown outside Turkey. We feel that it would be a major asset to our forum members if it was compiled together into one area. as it is being done now.

We hope you'll enjoy this new section and that we will see the continuation of quality discussions here.Hopefully we will attract more Turkish members to contribute as well.

Note that discussions on topics such as massacres in the the Balkan Wars and Armenia still belong in the Holocaust and War Crimes section.
