The cruiser Medjidieh

The Turkish cruiser Medjidieh was sunk by a mine in the Black Sea,off Odessa, 3 April. 1915; she was salvaged by the Russians and renamed Prut.She fell into the hands of the Germans in Sevastopol May, 1918, and was turned over back to Turkey.

She underwent a major refit in 1927.Stricken in 1948 and broken up for scrap.
