From The World Crisis 1911-1918,page 431:
When in the summer of 1909 I had visited Constantinople,I made the acquaintance of the Young Turk leaders and passed several days in the company of Djavid,Talaat and Halil.I also met at the German Manoeuvres of 1910 Enver Pasha,with whom I established amicable relations.
