Caucasus Campaign II

Post by tj rogerson » 02 Jul 2007 14:51

In continuing research on the Caucasus in WWI I've moved to the period of th arrival ofII Army in the area. I've found it easier to keep chronology straight if I have a list of the leaders.
Can someone give me a list of Commanders of the following Corps from the onset of war to the end (not just while in Eastern Anatolia):
II Corps
IV Corps
VI Corps
Also I'm trying to determine the leadership of XII Corps prior to June 1917.

FYI here is the info as I currently have it.

II Corps
Colak Faik (from November 1914 to August 1916)
Ismet Inonu (from August to November 1916)
August Nikolai
Yakup Sevki Subasi
Caffer Tayyar

IV Corps
Huseyin Selahattin
Ferik Bey
Pertev Demirhan Pasha (from July to September 1916)
Ismet Inonu (from November 1916-January 1917)
Ali Ishan Pasha (from January 1917 to the end of the war)

VI Corps
Ali Riza Sedes (November 1914)
Mulsafa Himi (from July 1916 to February 1917)
Kazim Ozalp (March 1918)

XII Corps
Fehrettin Turkkan Bey (November 1914)
Remzi Pasha (in 1916)
Fehrettin Altay Bey (from June to October 1917)
Abdulkerim Opelim (from October 1917 to the end of the war)

I'd like to know if the order is correct and if this is all the leaders involved. If not who goes where?
Thanks,
TJ
