I brought this back as some new details came to light in Ed Erickson book on Gallipoli.
He mentions these formations (depo alay) that supplied replacements to the 5th Army on the Gallipoli front.
(sorry my computer will not show Turkish spelling of these towns)

He mentions that each Corps had its own depot Regt of three Bn's each Bn of around 1000 men or 3000 men per Regt.
If the 1st Corps had its depot Regt at Ankara, what Corps where at these other depot Regt locations, one to check out to see what Corps are near these.
I had thought that each Corps depot was named as per its Corps (1st Infantry depot Regt 1st Corps), but that does not work as the 11th Infantry depot Regt was in Iraq at Mosul when the 11th Corps was with the 3rd Army at Van.
And the 12th Depot Regt was in Palestine when the 12th Corps was in Iraq, while the 16th depot feed the 20th Corps in Macedonia.
What I did find interesting were the Training Centres, that feed the depot Regt's, before feeding the Corps?

16th Depot Regt while shown going to Macedonia Nov 1916, the 16th Corps was in the Caucasus until disbanding in March 1917.
Both the 6th and 16th Corps are shown as there bases at Aleppo, so did the 16th depot get sent from Aleppo to Macedonia in Nov 1916?
I can find no records to back that up, other then Corps Locations pre war, and not all depot regts line up with Corps?
But since all Corps draw there replacements from there pre war areas, did that continue as the war went on and units were disbanded to be sent to other formations?

I can't find the place Taragatch ?
The only town by that name is in Georgia?
