Apologies for reviving this old thread. I cannot find a lot of detailed information about the siege in general and the period after the departure of the Serbian troops. What was the strategic situation on the eve of the surrender of Shkodra? Did the Ottoman defenders hold any positions outside of the city and the citadel? Also, I know the defenders were low on food and ammunition, but could they have held out much longer if it wasn't for the betrayel of Esad Pasha?
