Max, and mates,

Max has given the known Russian Orbats during the fighting 1914 and early 1915 along with the Turkish Orbats.

I wonder Max if you can find the what the Russians give us on the Turkish Army during the fighting in late 1915 and 1916 and 1917.

Since the "Hand book of the Turkish Army" dated 1916, is mentioned as gained from both British and Russian sources, they must have a better handle on the Turkish Armies facing them in the fighting around the Van Lakes late 1915 and the 1916 offensive against the Turkish 3rd and later 2nd Armies?

Can you find these reports and pass them on in English if possible, if to long, an outline of what they are saying?

I refer to your other posts of the Turkish Orbat for 1914;

According to Korsun:
9th Corps [destroyed in December]: 17th Div. (49, 50, 51 rgts, 17 art. rgt); 28th Div. (82, 83, 84 rgts, 28 art. rgt); 29th Div. (85, 86, 87 rgts, 29 art. rgt); 9th Cav. Bde (21, 22, 25 rgts [in fact, only one squadron in all brigade], 4th Horse Artillery Divizion)
10th Corps: 30th Div. (88, 89, 90 rgts, 30 art. rgt) [destriyed in December]; 31st Div.(91, 92, 93 rgts, 31 art. rgt); 32nd Div. (94, 95, 96 rgts, 32 art. rgt); 10th Cav. bde (19 and 20 cav. rgts - actually, only 5 squadrons)
11th Corps: 18th Div. (52, 53, 54 rgts, 18 art. rgt); 33rd Div. (97, 98, 99 rgts, 33 art. rgt); 34th Div. (100, 101, 102 rgts, 34 art. rgt) [destroyed in December]; 11th Cav. Bde (23 and 24 rgts - in fact, only 4 squadrons).

Kurdish Cavalry rgts:
1st and 4th Ashiret (Reserve) Cavalry Divisions: together with 2nd Cavalry Division, in Passin (Passinskaia) valley.
2nd and 3rd Ashiret (Reserve) Cavalry Divisions: against Russian Erevan detachment. Later 2nd Division sent to Passin valley.

3rd Ashiret Cavalry Bde and five Frontier Guard btns: Persian frontier, against Russian Azerbaijan Detachment.
36bis and 37bis divisions arrived to Khnys-Kala in November, 1914.
37th Division (13th Corps) sent to Van area (end of the November, 1914).

15 Frontier Guard Btns: Caucasian Frontier.

X Corps sent to Erzurum (beginning of the November, 1914).
3rd Division (1st Corps): sent to Batum region.

Cheers
