Mates,

Is there any names of the commander of the Gendarmerie of Jerusalem during the war?

So far I only found a comment that there was this unit there

Jerusalem Jandarma Bn

But no other details on this formation?

Likewise I could find no Gendarmerie for Damascus but such an important city there must have been one there, any ideas?

Other known Gendarmerie units I have in Palestine/Syria

Adana Jandarma Regt Hüseyin Avni (Zaimler)
Beirut Jandarma Regt LtCol Mehmet Atif Bey (Atesdagli)
Drizur or Deir ez-Zor Jandarma Regt Co - Capt Ali Saip or Saib (Ursavas)
Jerusalem Jandarma Bn
Kozan Jandarma Regt Co - Capt Ali Saip or Saib (Ursavas)
Lebanon Militia
Nablus Jandarma Bn Maj Mehmet Atif Bey (Atesdagli)
Syrian Jandarma Regt
Tul Keram Jandarma Co

Cheers

S.B
