Re: Ottoman fez maker label
Mate,
I don't know what I said but can guess.
The Coat of Arms is a Ottoman Pasha, a check may find him and give his dates of rule, much like the British makers to the Queen.
Old Ottoman is hard to give any correct answer.
Sorry

Thanks! What I am really looking for is to see if this fez was made at the Imperial fez factory in Eyüp.

Mate,
While that's possible, the coat of arms only gives the company, from the Sultan who gave his authority to make them.
So where the company was to make them is not shown, only the authority to make them in the Sultans name.
The writing may give that companies name, but more likely its only the Sultans details?
As stated different Sultans had there own coat of arms and these can be checked to confirm who gave that Authority.
Sorry.
