Drdu'da istihkam (köprülerden sorumlu) subayi

Google gives me some ideas?

Army recruiting officer (responsible for the bridges) in Ordu

While another word for "istihkam" is fortification

Another verison is?

Army corps (responsible for bridges)

So what is the right wording here?

Right spelling is : İstihkâm.
İstihkâm is fortification
But İstihkâm is also a class in the army . You call them engineers

Ordu'da istihkam subayi. Army Engineer officer
(köprülerden sorumlu) : responsible for bridges. that means he is responsible building and destroying the bridges.
so:
Army Engineer officer responsible for bridges

All seam to fit the word Engineer where I had Fortification"

But this had me beat

"Drdu'da" is a typing mistake . the right form is "Ordu'da" it means in the army. Ordu is army. It is a pure turkish word used since the days of great Hun Empire of Attila. Today millions of people in india and pakistan speak a language called "Urdu". It is originaly "Ordu" the language of the army. because in the army of the great turkic empire of India which they wrongly say mongol, there were many diffent turkic soldiers such as turcoman, uzbek, kirgiz, ect. Their mixed turkish language became today Urdu language.

and the city on black sea : Ordu it has no meaning it has nothing with the army Ordu. As we know that black sea region was called pontus in ancient times. the name of the city must be an old greek name . ı dont kown exactly.
