Hil all!

While I conducted a research about local history of Maltepe (a district of east Istanbul) I found a map created by German General and Adviser
Colmar Freiherr von der Goltz in 1897.

When I close up the district of Maltepe I saw a phrase called W.Leue.

I conducted search on internet about this and figured out this is a company who made military uniforms / buttons for Ottoman Army.

https://www.google.com.tr/search?q=w.+l ... H-Aqlu01bM

But I couldnt go further while it seems it's a German company but nearly there's no info about it on internet.

Do you have information about this?

Best Regards.

Hi Onur,

Let me thank you for posting this wonderful old Map; - really fantastic!
Unfortunately I have currently no further information to your question about W. Leue.

Cheers Holger
