Thanks for bringing this up. Yes, he was initially credited both as A. and H. Liebisch. Not 100% sure which one is correct.
From Hofmeister's Sept. 1896 catalog (p. 413, 414):
On record labels, he was usually credited as Liebisch only, or as A. Liebisch.
See Klingsor Record K 0114, for example, or Beka-Grand-Record 12186. (You may also search Mr Kaiser's list with the word Liebisch.)
But, even though there seem to be more "votes" for the initial "A", we still can't be 100% certain that it is the right one.
