I am interested in the song playing in the first part of the video but haven't had any luck identifying it.

Möwe, du fliegst in die Heimat
Re:
Hello and
It is a 1943 song called "Möwe, du fliegst in die Heimat", composed by Gerhard Winkler and written by Günther Schwenn.
It's the recording by Magda Hain (vocals) and Gerhard Winkler (composer/conductor) from 04.03.1943.
Cheers,
Ivan

Re:
You're welcome.
Note that the song became popular only after the war, in 1947, which is why it is most commonly believed today that it was also created in 1947. However, Magda Hain's "Odeon" recording proves that the song originates from 1943.
Cheers,
Ivan
