Post-WWII compositions
Hello everybody!
Maybe I've already asked that question here (sorry in that case), but I would like to ask it here again: For a very long time ago there was some medley from the 1930-s (or 1929 maybe) on YouTube which was dedicated either to the Berlin S- or U-Bahn. Practially, it was a musical imitation of a train driving from a station to a station, and on every station the choir sang a short song about the city district where the station was. I remember the songs "Komm, Karlineken, komm, wir woll'n nach Pankow geh'n" and "Komm' mit nach Friedenau, da ist der Himmel blau". Possibly it was a Grammophon recording. Could anybody help me on that matter?
Thanks in advance!
Auceps

Re: Eine lustige S-Bahn Fahrt [Potpourri]
Hello, Auceps
Sounds like Otto Kermbach's medley "Eine lustige S-Bahn Fahrt" (recorded for the "Lied der Zeit" company in 1951):
(A nice idea for a medley, by the way )
Cheers,
Ivan

Hello, Ivan,
yes, it sounds like it (I remember that some Otto recorded it, but wasn't sure if it was Kermbach or Dobrindt)! Thank you very, very much for your help again!

In the linked file (22,6mb) I'd like to know the name of the march played from 13:25 to 15:40.
(The march was played by the band of the Schutzpolizei Köln)

Re: Hab' gute Fahrt [Marsch]
It's a postwar (1960s) marine piece called "Hab' gute Fahrt", composed by Wal Barny & Peter Poll.

Ivan

Fliegerkameraden (Wir fliegen der Sonne entgegen...)
I'm looking for the lyrics of this song. If anyone knows or will take the time to write it, it'll be greatly appreciated!
Re: Fliegerkameraden (Wir fliegen der Sonne entgegen...)
Hello and
Just a note: the song itself is a postwar (1960s) piece, created by Walter Heyer (under his real name and his pseudonym Jan Steeven).
I've merged your post with our thread dealing with post-WWII compositions now.
Cheers,
Ivan

Das Lied von der Soldatenbraut (Ich sing Euch jetzt ein schönes Lied...)
This song aroused a lot of curiosity in me, starting with the name and ending with belonging to that time. This song can be heard in the movie 08/15 (1954), which casts doubt on my second question that this song was written after the Second World War. Other circumstances with the correct title (I found at least two titles of this song,,Das Lied von der Soldatenbraut,, and ,,Karabiner 98K Lied,, if I'm not mistaken, it begins with the words ,,Ich sing Euch jetzt ein schönes Lied...,,

It's a postwar piece, made for the movie (music by Rolf Wilhelm, lyrics by Fred Rauch).
