Can somebody tell me the song at 6:55-8:37. Such great footage combined with that music.

What is the origin of the musik in Part 2 of DW Nr. 725 (from 3:25--5:10, of the Fallschirmjaegers fighting Sherman tanks)?

It sounds rather familiar, as if from a German movie produced in the 1930s, but I can't quite tell which movie. Inititally, I guessed "Patrioten" (1937), but that's not it. The same music is also used in DW Nr. 632.

Second, what is the music during Joseph Darnand's speech around the 8:00 mark in Part 1 of DW Nr. 715? Is it of French or German origin?

Third, what is the music during the scenes of SS Division "Götz von Berlichingen" (starting around the 4:00 mark of Part 2)? It sounds like it could be from an opera.

Is the first part (up to 2m11s) of the music during Heidrich's funeral (DDW Nr. 615) also part of Trauermarsch Götterdämmerung or some other part from Wagner's Siegfried? If not, any idea of its origin?

Definitely not Siegfrieds Trauermarsch and I don't think it's from Siegfried nor that it is a Wagner piece. I have no idea what it might be though.

A couple of weird ones to me.

The first part of this one, up to the 25-second mark (of the burning houses in Mogilev), sounds very much like Soviet music. Then it transitions to the "Elektro-medizinische Apparate" part, which is a familiar refrain frequently used in Die Deutsche Wochenschau (Nrs. 505, 509, 512, 520, 531, 570, 615, 738) and Descheg Monatsschau (Nrs. 10 & 23). But there does seem some similarities between the two segments that they could be from the same piece.

The first 15 seconds of this next one is actually sandwiched between 'Auf den Straßen des Sieges' from 'Sieg im Westen'. Is this also from 'Sieg im Westen'? It sounds very Wagnerian to me. I almost thought it's the prelude to Trauermarsch Götterdämmerung of Wagner's Siegfried, but it doesn't appear to be from Siegfriend at all.

This sounds like a Liszt or Wagner piece, but I can't quite identify it. Prometheus? Les Preludes?

Darn, I just realized that this refrain actually continues on until the end of the OKW West meeting in the next scene. The same music is used in DDW Nr. 512 (Verdun scene) and Nr. 749 (Volksgrendiere scene). So two out of three scenes are related to France.

Are the following two segments from the same piece? Both sound like some music I associate with the voice-over "Einheiten der Kriegsmarine", probably from the ending of an earlier Wochenschau, though I don't remember which one.

The Flakkannonier scene starting around the 22m mark

The Nachrichtenhelferin & Fernkampfbatterie scene starting around the 15m mark

It's the best stormy-sea-music ever composed: Der fliegende Holländer (Ouvertüre), R. Wagner.

Is the first 25 seconds or so of this also part of Hunnenschlacht, or is it from another piece?

Is the last 40 seconds of this (starting from when the on-screen timer shows 00:10:52:07) from the same piece as the first 42 seconds?
