Four topics dealing with Carl Woitschach have been merged.

By the way, have you noticed that Carl Woitschach made short off-topic intros, for fun I guess, for several of his 1933 "Telefunken" recordings of popular SA songs? "Horst Wessel-Lied" begins as von Simon's "Kürassiermarsch Großer Kurfürst", "Als die gold'ne Abendsonne" begins as Christmas carol "Alle Jahre wieder" (Silcher) and "Lore, Lore" begins as Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" :) "Mein Nam’ ist Annemarie" beginning seems to be Bizet's "Les Toréadors" from "Carmen" and "Lisa" beginning seems to be "Der alte Dessauer" (it also reminds of Schubert's "Militärmarsch Nr. 1"). Does anyone have some idea about the intro of "Volk an's Gewehr"?

Cheers,
Ivan

He had a very nice signature (notice the decorative underlining)
