Question 51
These stupid Russian sources
I don't know what to ask, so my question will be rather stupid:
Which song has such words:
„Das ist die schönsten Stunden,
man fühlt sich uns verbunden
als bester Kamerad,
dein Frontsoldat!“

Re: Question 52
"Rote Husaren"?....
Re: Question 52
Bravo!
They made a little joke with buyers of the record, who expected to hear the well-known song "Rote Husaren", of course, as it was written on the label. Song starts with the tune of "Wohlauf, Kameraden, auf's Pferd" and then it's being stopped by "Heil! Heil!" shouting and a voice saying "Everyone knows the old soldiers' song Rote Husaren..." So, listener must have been surprised to hear the new, SA & SS version. Btw, the correct title of the NS version is simply "Braune Husaren".

Question 53
One more easy question from me
What is the original title of "Sturmführer Wessel" (Von all unsern Kameraden...)? (Maybe, the title I wrote is not correct)
What is the original title of "Sturmführer Wessel" (Von all unsern Kameraden...)? (Maybe, the title I wrote is not correct)
Re: Question 53
Just a small correction: the original SA title is "Sturmführer Wessel" and we're looking for the title of the song which was used as the basis for its SA variant. I'll leave the answer to someone else...
